I truly enjoyed A Man and his Cat. It is a cute and light read that warms the heart as you follow Fukumara, a cat in a pet shop who no one wanted, create a special place in the heart of gentle soul and widower, Mr Kanda who decides to take him home. While there is an underlying tone of sadness and grief, warmth and love come alive on the pages through the relationship of Fukumara and Kanda and their day-to-day activities.
