This graphic novel is a wonderful adaptation of the prose. Duffy and Jennings made a statement to me with their use of color as in their present time of the 1970s Dana and her partner are shown in one tone while when transported to 1860s/70s they are shown in full color, which also adds to the narrative of the stark contrast between the times.
