Nubia: A Real One, transports the lesser known sister of Diana also known as Wonder Woman, to today’s world as she grapples with adolescence, coming to terms with the power that lies within her, and what it means to be a Black young woman in today’s America. I greatly enjoyed the coloring and the illustrative work as it reminded of Wash Day Diaries by Jamila Rowser (Robyn Smith also worked on this). I wish we could have gotten more volumes as I feel that Nubia’s story is quite far from finished.
